Weekend Pictures

It seems like I always forget to take pictures during the week.  I get busy, and before I know it the week is completely gone.  Blake is changing so much that I really need to get better at taking pictures during the week.  It seems like he changes daily.  I tried to make up for the lack of  pictures this weekend.  So, here they are!

Happy One Month!

Blake is officially one month. I have no idea where that time went. My beautiful little newborn isn't quite as new as he was. He is still perfect though. I love the way he is fitting into our lives. He is such a good baby, and I really am trying to cherish this time (even the 4am feedings!). We have been working since 2008 for this, and I am loving every minute of it. So, happy one month baby boy!

More Birthday Balloons

Thank you so much Jessica, Mike, and Alex for letting these balloons go all the way in Mississippi! It is so great to know that people remember our boys. You guys are great friends.

Almost A Year

Monday is Ethan and Jacob's first birthday. Almost a year ago we were going through a nightmare. We were hoping and praying that Ethan would pull through in the NICU. Sadly, that didn't happen. This past year has had so many emotions for us. From the pure heartbreak of losing our baby boys to the pure joy of meeting Blake. It is almost overwhelming how much life can change in a year.

We took Blake to visit his brothers last weekend. It is important to Joseph and I that he knows about his brave brothers. They picked him out for us and made sure he made it to us safely. I have no doubt that they were watching over us in the OR on Blake's birthday.
There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of Ethan and Jacob. They are very much still in our minds. Blake doesn't replace them at all... in fact he reminds us of the fact that he should have two big brothers showering him with attention.

So, on Monday... everyone take a second and think of our angels. Joseph, Blake, and I plan on sending them some birthday balloons. Hopefully they get them.

I'm That Person

When we went through all of our struggles to get pregnant, it was always tough to see people posting picture after picture of their new baby. Now, I am that person. We take pictures all the time. I can't help it though. He is just so darn cute. So, I am embracing it.... and here are more pictures!! Enjoying the couch with Bailey
