We recently had family pictures done.  I am really happy with how they turned out.  Here are a few...

Early Birthday...

Blake's Daddy is going to miss his first birthday, so we decided to have an early party for him... no daddy should miss their baby's first birthday party!  We decided it would be a combination going away party and birthday party.
It was a great party.  We did a Little Einstein's theme, since Blake adores them.  It was so nice to have a day that was all about Blake and Joseph.  I was so happy that they got a special day.  Joseph has been working so hard, he needed a stress free, fun day.

Family Pictures

We had family pictures done a few weeks ago.  We have gotten a few "sneak peaks" from the photographer... who just happens to be my neighbor.  She did a great job.  Blake was so much happier taking pictures outside.  We didn't have to fight with him as much.

Visits, Videos, and Pictures

Blake loves his new car.  He can be in the worst mood, and a drive around the driveway makes him a giggly mess.  He also loves to kick his shoes off while driving.  He is already a reckless driver. I think he got that from Daddy ;)

Blake's Nana came to visit last week.  We went to the park and the marina at New River.  We just had our family pictures done there, so I showed my mom around.  Blake loves that park.  I have a feeling we are going to be frequenting it a lot in the next few years.

So big

My little man will be seven months old this month. I can't believe it. He has entered such a fun stage! I think this is my favorite stage so far (although the newborn snuggles were great). He is sitting alone, starting to get into the crawl position, can give kisses (only when he wants to though), and can high five when asked. He thinks peek-a-boo is hilarious, and loves being tickled. He is sleeping most of the night (8-6am, eats, and back to sleep until 7:30 or 8). Sigh, his naps are still a struggle... But we take what we can get.

Deployment....

I have decided to make a deployment blog for Joseph's upcoming deployment. I won't post any specific information, but i will just post how we are doing... In a more secure blog. I will have it closed to the public for both our safety and Joseph's safety. Sadly, there are people in this world who we have to keep information from for the safety of our military members.
